Great success for the first edition of the IORA workshop “Sustainable Cruise Terminal Management Programme”ย 

The 18th November 2023 it has been concluded the ๐’๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐‚๐ซ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฌ๐ž ๐“๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ฅ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž, a workshop organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA), Roma Cruise Terminal, ForMare – National Shipping Hub, Confitarma – Italian Shipowners Confederation, and Costa Crociere S.p.A.

The workshop has achieved great success among participants, mainly cruise terminal managers and port authority executives coming from several countries around the Indian Ocean Rim. During the closing ceremony, Pino Musolino, President of the AdSP del Mar Tirreno Centro Settentrionale, John Portelli, General Director of Roma Cruise Terminal, and Elisa Van Engelenhoven, Project Manager of ForMare, addressed the participants. President Musolino personally handed out certificates of attendance to all participants.

A big thank you goes to all the professors and the industry professionals who have contributed to the workshop with care and in-depth analysis of each topic. Special thanks are dedicated to the entire staff of Roma Cruise Terminal, especially to John Portelli and Cristina Carapellese, for the extraordinary organization and hospitality during these intense six days of work.
