On November 13, 2023, it started the Sustainable Cruise Terminal Management Programme, a workshop organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA), Roma Cruise Terminal, ForMare – National Shipping Hub, Confitarma – Italian Shipowners Confederation, and Costa Crociere S.p.A.

In the occasion of the opening ceremony, the CEO Fabrizio Monticelli and the Project Manager Elisa Van Engelenhoven represented ForMare and convey greetings from the General Director of Confitarma.

The ceremony was attended by MAECI Representatives Eugenio Sgrรฒ and Silvia Costantini, the Ambassadors in Italy from India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, John Portelli and Cristina Carapellese from Roma Cruise Terminal, and Eric Gerritsen from Costa Crociere.

The workshop will take place for the next six days, hosted by Roma Cruise Terminal at Vespucci Terminal in Civitavecchia. It is addressed to cruise terminal managers and port authority executives tasked with managing cruise operations in theย IORAย region.
